Our Projects

The Long Neck Royal Canal Association is working on three projects - Maintaining the Front of the Canal depth, review the possibility of dredging the entire canal and replacing the bulkhead.

Project 1. Front of Canal

The month of the Long Neck Royal Canal was dredged in 2019 by the Town to replenish the sand on the sand at the end of Long Neck.

The associations leadership is in touch with the Town Trustees in order to keep the canal front the Suffolk dredging list.

Currently, the canal is not scheduled to be dredged at this time.

Project 2. Dredging the Entire Canal

Currently, the associations has been investigation the options to dredge the entire canal.

One outstanding issue is 215 Long Neck Blvd and its bulkhead. Please click on News and Issues to find out all the details

Project 3. 215 Long Neck Blvd

Currently, the property at 215 Long Neck Blvd bulk head needs replace. In Oct 2019, the Town of Southampton agreed to replace the bulk head.
